I will try to keep it short and sweet.

Why Cyber security is suddenly a big concern for companies?

It was always a concern for companies but it turns out that increased reliance on work from home scenarios in this pandemic is exposing more and more online security loopholes and companies are looking for fresh talent in the market to keep themselves safe. People who can provide Security auditing services will be in great demand.

You got any recent events to support that there is a surge in demand for Cyber-Security professionals?

  1. Hacking of Big Twitter accounts on July 15, 2020
  2. Hacking of 500, 000 Zoom users info on April 2020
  3. Recently there has been big government interference for companies on data privacy and unethical market practices which will indirectly promote growth in the cybersecurity job market.

There is also a great point-by-point breakdown of the cybersecurity market by Patrick Bet-David on YouTube Cybersecurity - A $7 Trillion Industry That’s The Biggest Threat To Entrepreneurs. I am a programmer by profession and therefore being a technical guy it's difficult for me to see the world through business eyes and it’s “these business eyes” that control the job market. Hence I rely on guys like Patrick to paint the market picture for me. This video talks about why companies will be hungry for Cybersecurity professionals in near future.

Why Python?

Python has a great ecosystem to learn hacking stuff. It's awesome for scripting and is often taught as the first programming language in programming courses.

What is this securitytube.net that you speak of?

It’s a discussion forum and an awesome collection of YouTube videos carefully compiled by other Cyber-sec individuals.

To be a Hacker we'll have to start hanging out with other hackers.

Ending note

The sole intent of this article was to generate awareness regarding securitytube.net for Pythonistas and it's just one of the cool places to hang out in free time. Pythoneers can share other cool places as well or share their concerns regarding this place.

Don’t forget to clap if it helps. Thank You and Happy Hacking!
